I came with great expectations as this is a highly rated tourist to go place for good Indian food.
We ordered the lamb shank briyani, chicken dum briyani, mutton murtabak & and side of fish.
Really disappointed with both briyani. The rice was wet, lumpy & lack of flavour. Have to say chicken and lamb were good and tender.
Murtabak was rather wet and not cooked properly.
Service was not on as well. Our lamb shank briyani came as deer meat briyani instead. When we enquired, the wait staff said we order wrongly. We finally sort it out when they checked their orders again. We asked for an additional side plate which never appeared. So we gave up and did not bother to ask again.
Will I return? …… hahahaha

Delicious foods especially mee goreng chicken, fried chicken briyani and murtabak mutton. The portions are quite big with acceptable price. Got reference from a friend. Will come again if I visit Singapore again

This place is big. Second floor is fully air conditioned. I ordered mutton briyani, chicken chop, and chicken murtabak. They were good except it took some time to come to the table. There were little spiciness in all of them which made a child harder to eat.. Good place for a adults. This place is also close to the mosque and haji lane.

I came to this restaurant because of its fame. We hesitated entering at first as it was a hot day and there didn’t seem to be air con. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and directed to go upstairs, and we were pleased as the aircon was on upstairs and the seating was also more comfortable.

We ordered curry chicken and chicken murtabak. We liked the chicken murtabak more. It came with a delicious curry sauce.

Teh tarik was so so. Not very aromatic.

The waiters were very friendly although they were very busy.

Food is ok, nothing wow about it like last time. Even though I ate here before, I strongly believe the quality of the food has dropped quite a bit. The price for the food is still affordable considering the location. The murtabak tastes not that bad but average for me and oily too. The ice teh had too much milk on it so it was more of a milk tea than an ice teh. Overall for the murtabak, I would rate 6.5/10. For the drinks would be 5.5/10. Service will be 7/10.
